Mortlake Play School – 3 to 5 years old

The children spend most of the day with nothing else on their minds but playing, exploring and having fun! This is encouraged by the team of staff and will include:

Playing with sand and water
Play dough
Cutting and sticking
Building tall buildings out of Lego
Working with clay
Painting pictures
Dressing up
Reading
Playing house
Arts and Crafts
Music
Dance

The children can take ‘quiet time’ if they wish and a small resting area is provided for this. Most days are spent inside the nursery where the children take part in various planned activities, games, dance, singing and just being children.
The children will be given plenty of opportunity to play in our outside courtyard for fresh air and games, supervised by our experienced nursery teachers and staff. Nursery Rhymes, Dancing, Sand Play and Scootering are just some activities the children enjoy.
Every day starts with a sing along and finishes with a story. The maximum children on site per day is 30.

Packed lunch is required. Children may only bring healthy food. Chocolates, sweets, fizzy drinks are not allowed to be consumed.
We also have a NO NUT policy. The children and the staff all enjoy lunch together.

Water, organic fruit, vegetables and juice are provided throughout the day. Children should also bring their own water bottle

Times:

Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3:30pm

Full weeks, individual days or half days can be booked and optional additional wrap around can also be added.
